You don't have to be a "racer" to enjoy running, but many members of the South Riding Running Club enter and run in events all over the country (and the world). While some years seem busier than others, we always have stories to tell, adventures to share, and lessons to learn.
This library of race reports is fairly large and always growing. If you read these reports and feel like you'd like to be a part of a group that has this much fun, visit our membership page, where you can learn more about joining the club and some of its benefits. Race reports are posted regularly, so don't forget to bookmark this page!
The SRRC would love to hear about your running, racing, or crewing experiences. Everyone is encouraged to write about and share their experiences. There is no limit to the number of reports you submit.
Your report should include the name of the event, the date, and who participated. Pictures are welcome and encouraged. Reports must be in an editable form and have as little formatting as possible. (Everything has to be reformatted for the web site anyway.) Your report may be edited for form and mechanics. No gibberish-to-English conversion is currently available, so make sure you want it posted! If you're under 18, please have your parents' permission. You can confirm that by having mom or dad submit the report on your behalf. If you would like to submit a race report to be posted on the SRRC website please email srrunner@srrunners.org.
