If you don't know where you are going, you'll end up someplace else. -- Yogi Berra

Group runs are open to runners of all ages and abilities. You do not need to be a member of the club to participate. Beginner runs (including little runners in jog-strollers) are frequently organized as well, and e-mail broadcasts are sent out in advance.
Please note: The information on the web site is kept as current as possible, but last minute information is typically communicated via the e-mail list. For example, field trips often involve RSVPs that are shared via e-mail so we can figure out transportation, etc. You don't have to join the club to be on the e-mail list. If you're not on the list, though, you might find yourself out of the loop!
Note: Work schedules and various commitments of daily life make it possible that runners may meet earlier or later than 6:00 a.m., especially during the summer. If you are coming out for the first time or are not sure who plans to be there, send a message via the SRRC e-mail list.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday @ 5:30 a.m.—3 - 5 miles starting from Panera next to Giant . Watch the e-mail list to see what is planned on a given day..
Saturdays and Sundays @ 7:00 a.m.—Runs between 2-10 miles are held and are supported with water for the runners. Runners of all abilities and paces are welcome to join. Weekend runs generally start from either Starbucks or Panera, but always check the run schedule to make sure of the location.
If you are training for a longer distance event such as a marathon or ultramarathon, you can find a schedule of relatively organized long runs at the Loudoun Road Runner Long Run List.
If you would like to coordinate other weekday runs, drop a note to srrunningclub@yahoo.com. Runners looking to put specific runs or field trips on the club calendar should contact srrunner@srrunners.org.
We don't have an official orientation program, but we do offer some basic answers to common questions that new members have. (Read more . . .)
