SRRC Officers
Officers are the accountable members of South Riding Runners Club who occupy the following elected Board positions:
President–The President shall convene regularly scheduled Board meetings and is responsible for overseeing the work of the other officers/board members and the club at large.
Vice President–The Vice President shall assume the duties of the president in the event of resignation, absence, or incapacity of the president. The Vice President shall also chair special committees as designated by the Board.
Secretary–The Secretary shall be responsible for keeping records of Board actions, including overseeing the taking of minutes at all board meetings, sending out meeting announcements, distributing copies of minutes and the agenda to each Board member, and ensuring that corporate records are maintained.
Treasurer–The Treasurer shall make a report at each Board meeting. Treasurer shall assist in the preparation of the budget, help develop fundraising plans, and make financial information available to Board members and the public.
Members at Large–The South Riding Runners Club allows for two members at large on the board. The Member-at-large will bring the voice of the membership to the Board meetings, chair sub-committees, and carry out other duties as designated by the Board. Any member can serve as a member at large. No officer can serve as both an officer and a member at large at the same time.
