Let's get running! An early photo of the club taken in front of the South Riding Starbucks in June 2004. We've grown since then.

The South Riding Running Club is located in South Riding, VA (near Chantilly, VA) in Loudoun County. We are a small (but growing!) group of recreational runners who meet for weekly group runs to motivate each other, encourage and support novice runners, train for upcoming races, and promote running as a group and community activity.

Runners of all abilities and paces are welcome to join any of the weekly runs and events organized by the SRRC. Currently, the club holds a number of weekly group runs, including weekend long and short distance runs and early-morning weekday runs.

Runs typically start and end at the South Riding Starbucks (next to Bloom), or other location in the neighborhood that the run sponsor selects. The running routes are usually contained within the South Riding community, but we occasionally go on field trips to run through some of the beautiful VA countryside. Feel free to view our current list of running courses, or propose one yourself.

You don't have to be a member to come out and run with us, but membership has its benefits. Click here for information.

New Runner Orientation

We don't have an official orientation program, but we do offer some basic answers to common questions that new members have. (Read more . . .)

The South Riding Running Club is a community of runners and walkers of all levels and ability. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate regardless of age, gender, athletic inclination, and goals.
